Peterborough Night Life - Needs You!

In recent months the arguements have raged in the local papers and on web forums about the decline in Peterborough's Night Life.  Yes it is a sad fact that with fewer people coming into the city centre at night and supporting the scene,tht venues will close.  "So what, who cares" is the reply of a some people!  Well everyone should care, as a city without night scene will become a ghost town in time.

For all those who complain nothing good ever happens in Peterborough in terms of entertainment,then take a look at this website and checkout the diversity of events. Sure, Peterborough is never going to host mega concerts with the likes of Madonna or the Rolling Stones playing live,but then outside of 4 or 5 cities in the UK,no one else will either.

So the message if there is one,is please support Peterborough Night Life.  Go out to clubs,pubs,bars and gigs - get your friends to support the scene too.  It is very much a case of use it or lose it!

In closing I would add, if you dont feel that the cities night scene caters for you, then tell us what you want and if it is viable then we will try to improve the scene.  This has got to be better than sitting on your backside bemoaning the fact that nothing good ever happens in Peterborough.
