Peterborough Nightscene   

To combat the negativity about Peterborough City Centre that often rears its ugly head in local media all too often, PCS launched the “Peterborough Nightscene” campaign in summer of 2006.  Del. Singh, Chairman of PCS says, “Peterborough Nightscene has been put together in an attempt to woo people back into Peterborough city centre at night.  The idea is a basic one, in that the city has a diversity of venues and activities - something for everyone.   We simply want parents, kids and people in general to not believe all the negative press and urban myths and come into town and see what's on offer for themselves.  Its not just local people living close to the city centre, but also those in outlying areas that we hope to persuade to come to the city centre at night”.
