Peterborough Evening Partnership
Who are we?...
The Peterborough Evening Partnership (PEP) is a group made up of representatives from licensed premises, fast food restaurants, the Police, Peterborough City Council and local support agencies.
Tackling alcohol and drugs...
The partnership was formed in March 2005 in order to tackle alcohol and drug related offences in the City Centre and beyond. We are committed to making Peterborough a safe and pleasant environment for customers and members of staff to enjoy.
PEP works closely with other colleagues..
from the Police and Peterborough City Council and supports the ongoing work of Police Officers, Street Wardens, the City's CCTV Control Room and the day and nighttime radio schemes, to name but a few!
We want people to visit Peterborough...
during the night-time economy and know that there are people working hard to try and ensure that they have a safe and enjoyable night out. We know that people want to enjoy a drink or two on a night out, but PEP's motto also encourages them to understand their personal limitations.
We believe that prevention is better than cure..
and we are working on various action plans that will hopefully improve the safety and security of visitors and staff alike. During the course of this website, you will find details of some of the initiatives that are being or have already been launched in Peterborough City Centre during the night-time economy.
